Creating an administration

Go to Campus Labs portal and click on “Administration” and select relevant semester

  • A message at the top of the page reads “# unevaluated course sections remaining”

  • Courses added during the import process will show up here

Info

Make note of the most recent session number. Name your new sessions with the correct number (e.g., if the previous week was session 5, name the next ones session 6).

The numbers are sequential by session, not by campus. In other words, a campus might not have evaluations in all sessions, in which case sessions will be skipped in the final tally (e.g., Denver Session 1, Denver Session 4, Denver Session 6, etc.)

Click “Create Administration” and complete three fields

  • Select Parts of Term:

    • image-20240212-190400.pngImage Added
    • Can select both Boulder main campus and Boulder distance for same session (unless final)

    • Run CEPS separate from Boulder main/Boulder distance

    • Currently, Anschutz appears under Denver—working on a fix for thatDenver

Info

For Anschutz sessions, select the “CU Denver semester” option from the dropdown.

  • If all “Denver” classes are for Anschutz and none for CU Denver, complete the steps below for Anschutz

  • If there are both CU Denver and Anschutz classes, set up a single session, then go in to the administration and remove the classes that don’t belong.

  • Then, rerun the “CU Denver semester” option again for that particular campus.

  • Select Details

    • Choose the relevant evaluation (Boulder 2020, AMC 2020, Denver 2187)

    • Create an Administration Name: Campus Session # (e.g., Boulder Session 5)

    • Leave “Include Custom Instructor Questions” unchecked

  • Select Dates

    • Weekly sessions open at 11 a.m. each Monday (or Tuesday in case of holiday)

    • Weekly sessions close at 11:59 p.m. Friday (or Saturday in case of holiday)

    • Occasionally, there are weekend classes that are exceptions, but they are rare

  • Final sessions open at 12 a.m. on Monday (except for Boulder Law) and run through 11:59 p.m. the following Monday Tuesday (except for Boulder Law and Boulder Engineering Extended)

    • Except for summer term, which runs on the weekly schedule

    • There are occasional fall/spring exceptions, such as when Fall Break occurs between weeks 14 and 15

  • Schedule the report release dates and times (12 p.m.) for both Instructor and Administrator reports

    • To check release dates, visit FCQ calendar, the https://www.colorado.edu/fcq/calendar and consult the “Semester Timeline” box on the right-hand side of the page

    • Expand the “FCQ reports posted” to get the dates

Click “Create”

  • Repeat the process for each relevant campus
