Are my FCQ responses anonymous?

Are my FCQ responses anonymous?

Student responses on FCQs are anonymous to instructors and department leads, and the identities of respondents are confidential (e.g., only accessible to the Office of Data Analytics (ODA)). No student names appear in the FCQ data processed by the ODA and will never appear in public reports.

When completing FCQs in Campus Labs, students are assigned a random ID that is attached to their responses. This random ID is not disclosed to anyone outside of ODA or included in any reports.

However, when legally required, the FCQ program can use this ID to identify the respondent. This is a very rare occurrence and is only done when legally required, such as when a member of the CU community (students, faculty, staff, etc.) threatens to inflict serious harm on themselves or others.
