Campus Labs .csv files are located in KC:\ir\fcq\prod\cyyt

  • You do NOT need to import the org unit or academic term files

  • Warning: importing through Courses Management can take a few minutes

  • Be sure to wait

    • You only need to import academic term files once per semester and import an org unit doc only when needed

    • Warning: Wait until a file has imported correctly before advancing to the next step

    1. Go to Campus Labs

    Click “Imports” tile

    ...

    Click “Core Data Management” (under “Core Data Imports”)

    2. Under “Data Types” > “User Accounts,” click “Import Data.”

    2. From top menu, click Courses > Import.

    3. Under “Data Type:” select “Courses” and import most recent file from \Courses.

    4. Under “Data Type:” select “Sections” and import most recent section file from \Sections.

    5. Under “Data Type:” select “Section Attributes” and import

    ...

    1. the secAttr(term_cd) file (no batch number attached) from \SectionAttribute.

      1. The section attributes is the only one that relies on a cumulative rather than a batch document

      2. We still generate the batch file for quality control, historical record, etc.

    2. Under “Data Type:” select “Enrollment” and import most recent file from \Enrollment.

    3. Under “Data Type:” select “Instructor” and import most recent file from \Instructor.

    4. Close

    Go to https://transfer.campuslabs.com, login

    1. Username: Colorado

    2. Password: kapam4*era

    ...

    Open the \Courses folder

    ...

    Open the \CrossListing folder

    ...

    Click “Add Files”

    ...

    Choose the most recent “xListing” .csv file from \CrossListing, click “Start”

    1. If there isn’t an “xListing” file, skip to next step

    Choose the manifest.done file from \CrossListing, click “Start”

    ...

    1. the window and go to the Campus Labs administrator portal when finished.
