How-To: Import to Campus Labs

Campus Labs .csv files are located in C:\Users\darcange\OD.new\OneDrive - UCB-O365\FCQ - AIM_ Measurement\CampusLabs\Imports\(term_cd)

  • You only need to import academic term files once per semester and import an org unit doc only when needed

  • Warning: Wait until a file has imported correctly before advancing to the next step

  1. Go to Campus Labs data management portal, https://colorado.campuslabs.com/datamanagement and log in using your CU ID.

  2. Under “Data Types” > “User Accounts,” click “Import Data.”

  3. Click “Browse” and select most recent student file from \Accounts and click “Upload.”

  4. Click “Browse” and select most recent instructor file from \Accounts and click “Upload.”

  5. From top menu, click Courses > Import.

  6. Under “Data Type:” select “Courses” and import most recent file from \Courses.

  7. Under “Data Type:” select “Sections” and import most recent section file from \Sections.

  8. Under “Data Type:” select “Section Attributes” and import the secAttr(term_cd) file (no batch number attached) from \SectionAttribute.

    1. The section attributes is the only one that relies on a cumulative rather than a batch document

    2. We still generate the batch file for quality control, historical record, etc.

  9. Under “Data Type:” select “Enrollment” and import most recent file from \Enrollment.

  10. Under “Data Type:” select “Instructor” and import most recent file from \Instructor.

  11. Close the window and go to the Campus Labs administrator portal when finished.
