Core question requests

Occasionally, a campus will want to update its core FCQ question set. The FCQ program is happy to accommodate these requests, but ask that we have a lead-time of at least three months prior to first administration.

Please understand that building and proofing the online FCQ instrument is an involved and time-consuming process. Changes to the core instrument also impact the custom questions and without proper lead-time, custom questions may be delayed or limited in administration.

If your campus has decided to update its core question set, please provide the FCQ program with the completed question set and scale by the following dates. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that the questions will be ready in time for the semester:

  • Fall: Submit new questions by May 1

  • Spring: Submit new questions by October 1

Note: The core question set is used for all courses participating in the FCQs. The core questions cannot be modified or withheld from administration.
