Campus Labs .csv files are located in K:\ir\fcq\prod\cyyt

  • You do NOT need to import the org unit or academic term files

  • Warning: importing through Courses Management can take a few minutes

  • Be sure to wait until a file has imported correctly before advancing to the next step

  1. Go to Campus Labs “Home” page

  2. Click “Imports” tile

  3. Click “Core Data Management” (under “Core Data Imports”)

  4. Select “Accounts” under “Import Data”

  5. Click “Browse” and select most recent student file from \Accounts and Upload

  6. Click “Browse” and select most recent instructor file from \Accounts and Upload

  7. From top menu, click Courses > Import

  8. Under “Data Type:” select “Courses” and import most recent file from \Courses

  9. Under “Data Type:” select “Sections” and import most recent section file from \Sections

  10. Under “Data Type:” select “Section Attributes” and import most recent file from \SectionAttribute

  11. Under “Data Type:” select “Enrollment” and import most recent file from \Enrollment

  12. Under “Data Type:” select “Instructor” and import most recent file from \Instructor

  13. Close “Core Data Management” window

  14. Go to https://transfer.campuslabs.com, login

    1. User name and password in tip sheet, “How to set up an FCQ Session”

  15. Open the \Courses folder

  16. Open the \CrossListing folder

  17. Click “Add Files”

  18. Choose the most recent “xListing” .csv file from \CrossListing, click “Start”

    1. If there isn’t an “xListing” file, skip to next step

  19. Choose the manifest.done file from \CrossListing, click “Start”

    1. Be sure you drop off the .csv BEFORE you drop off the manifest.done file—if you don’t, the import may not happen
